WASHINGTON, DC-Rockrose Development Corp. has acquired the class A office structure at 1776 Eye Street, N.W. Washington Republic LLC sold the 224,666-square-foot building for $119.7 million.
The office building, originally built in 1987, is 90% leased. It is situated at the corner of Eye and 18th Streets in the Central Business District. Current occupiers in the building include Carr Properties, Conoco Phillips, Trak Legal Staffing and The Gavi Fund. Transwestern represented the seller in the deal.
