WASHINGTON, DC-Bethesda-based Minshall Stewart Properties has acquired 2001 L St. NW, a 10-story office building in Washington, DC, from Fairfax-based Equity L Street LLC for $61.7 million. The 156,766-square-foot building, developed in 1985, is nearly 71% occupied by tenants including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Peace Corps.

The sales price breaks down to about $393 per square foot. Equity L Street paid $66 million for the building in 2007. Transwestern's Institutional Commercial Group handled the sale. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
