
MIAMI BEACH-A company operated by Alan Lieberman, a Miami Beach hotelier, has acquired a shell apartment building on Collins Ave. in Miami Beach for $6.75 million and then obtained a $13.85-million loan from Coral Gables-based Banesco USA. Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of the 96-unit complex at 3720 Collins Ave.
CIG Acquisitions Group took control of the property in 2011 from Richard Meruelo's 3720 Collins LLC through a foreclosure lawsuit. Lieberman's 3720 Croydon LLC bought the building at a 22% discount. For the full story, go to South Florida Business Journal .
