CHICAGO-Santa Monica, California-based Macerich Co. has acquired the office structure at 500 N. Michigan Ave. from Chicago-based Zeller Realty Group. The company has paid $70.9 million for the 24-story office building.
Zeller purchased the Mag Mile office building in 2006 for $49 million. Crain's announced in January that Macerich, which owns the nearby Shops at North Bridge, was examining ways to join the two buildings. Eastdil Secured handled the sale. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
