DALLAS-Toronto-based Tricon Capital Group Inc. and Dallas-based Matthews Southwest have acquired a 60-acre parcel situated on the south side of Dallas Convention Center for a mixed-use development. Tricon has pledged $11.2 million of equity for the purchase and development.

The $400-million project will comprise residential, retail and commercial space. The project site is situated near the South Side on Lamar project, a 45-acre mixed-use redevelopment of Matthews Southwest. For the full story, go to Dallas Business Journal .
