TAMPA, FL-Hillsborough County property records revealed that The Edge at 42nd Street recently changed hands for $5.5 million. The 4.8-acre property at 4200 E. Fletcher Ave. was earlier a University of South Florida dormitory known as Fontana Hall.
Landmark at Sky Tower Suites LLC sold the property to Columbus, Ohio-based University Residences USF LLC. The existing buildings will be demolished to make way for a 314-unit student housing complex with 539 bedrooms. Smith Equity Real Estate Investment Advisors' Paul M. Guyet handled the deal.
