DALLAS-John Alvarado, long-time managing director at Jones Lang LaSalle's Capital Markets Group has moved on to CBRE as senior vice president. In his new position, Alvarado joins an investment sales team that includes Jack Fraker, Gary Carr, Russell Ingram and Josh McArtor.

His relationships with institutional investors and private equity groups will enhance our investment sales reach locally and nationally.”
According to Dmagazine's RealPoints' column, Jones Lang LaSalle noted in a statement that "John Alvarado and Jones Lang LaSalle have mutually decided to part ways. We value the long-standing relationship we enjoyed with John and we wish him success in his future endeavors.”
In addition to spending more than a decade with Jones Lang LaSalle, Alvarado also served as director with CSFB Realty Corp., a Dallas division of Credit Suisse First Boston, which closed in 2002.
Alvarado is a graduate of the University of Southern California and is active in various industry and community organizations.

- CHANNELVIEW, TX-Tubular Services LLC acquired 23 acres at 15800 Bear Bayou Dr. from YMCA of Greater Houston Area. B. Kelley Parker III, John F. Littman, Coe Parker and Tim M. Thomas with Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. represented the seller. Billie Jean Harris of RE/MAX East represented the buyer.
- HOUSTON-RGM Asset Management sold a 15,000-square-foot building at 5425 Renwick. The seller was represented by Chris Caudill and Joel Michael of NAI Houston. Tim Opatrany of TAO Interests represented buyer Biz and Company LLC.
- GLENDALE, AZ-The 2,042-square-foot, net-leased Wienerschnitzel at 9370 W. Northern Ave. sold to a limited liability company for $1 million. Jamie Medress and Mark Ruble with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services' Phoenix office represented the seller, a partnership. Steve Sauter, who operates out of Marcus & Millichap's Palo Alto, CA office, represented the buyer.

- HOUSTON-Walker Molinare joins Stewart National Title Services as vice president, sales manager. Most recently, Molinare served as director of builder, developer and commercial sales, eastern operations for Stewart Title Co., and prior to that was the builder and developer division manager for Gracy Title in Austin.
- PHOENIX-Derek Ruterman has been promoted to vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle from project manager.
