MARGATE, FL-Inland American Real Estate Trust, Inc., an affiliate of North American Development Group, has paid $31.5 million for the Lakewood Shopping Center, a 236,679-square-foot center in Margate. The retail center, anchored by Ross, Staples and Marshalls, is situated on State Road 7 and West Atlantic Boulevard.
The sale also covered outparcels occupied by Walgreens, Bank of America, Burger King and Applebee's. The National Retail Investment Group of CBRE handled the deal on behalf of the seller. For the full story, go to South Florida Business Journal .
