ORLANDO-Atlanta-based Pollack Shores Real Estate Group, which is developing a $40-million apartment community in downtown Orlando, Florida, has purchased an existing property in the area. The real estate investment firm has picked up the Heather Glen apartment complex near the main campus of the University of Central Florida in Orlando for $23.6 million.

Pennsauken, New Jersey-based UCM/Resource-Heather Glen LLC was the seller. The 396-unit apartment community, constructed in 1986, is 95% occupied. For the full story, go to Atlanta Business Chronicle .
