MANNHEIM, GERMANY-Union Investment has bought the Europa-Galerie retail center in Saarbrucken on behalf of its fund UniInstitutional European Real Estate. Credit Suisse Asset Management Immobilien Kapitalanlagegesellschaft was the seller.

The shopping center, built in 1991 and renovated in 2010, offers 269,097 square feet of retail space. The Europa-Galerie is leased to majore tenants, including REWE, H&M and Saturn. Latham & Watkins advised Union Investment on the transaction. For the full story, go to Europe Real Estate .
