SANTA FE, NM-A subsidiary of General Electric Capital Corp., the lender, has purchased Sanbusco Market Center at auction this week. Joseph Schepps, who held the ownership of the shopping center for 28 years, said that GE acquired the property for the rate of the $8.8-million loan.

The project is situated at 500 Montezuma Ave. in downtown Santa Fe. It contains a mix of retailers and artisans. The shopping center was foreclosed on by GE Capital in late May. For the full story, go to New Mexico Business Weekly .
