DALLAS-Cousins Properties, an investor and developer based in Atlanta, has acquired the 2100 Ross building, formerly called San Jacinto Tower, at foreclosure auction. The company paid $59.74 million to purchase the 33-story tower Pearl Street and Ross Avenue in downtown Dallas.

Cousins set up a company, called CP 2100 Ross LLC, to acquire the 844,000-square-foot office building at auction. The previous owner, a partnership established by New York-based Moinian Group borrowed $71 million in 2007 to buy the property. For the full story, go to Dallas Morning News .
