OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL-A venture headed by an Indiana hotelier has picked up a Staybridge Suites hotel on Royce Boulevard in west suburban Oakbrook Terrace for $7.4 million. The venture between Rosemont-based First Hospitality Group Inc. and Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Superhost Enterprise LLC acquired the 112-room property at 200 Royce Blvd. from a subsidiary of Northbrook-based Stone Financial Group LLC.
The venture financed the acquisition with a $5.9-million loan obtained from GE Capital Bank and is planning to spend $2 million to renovate the property. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
