
NEW YORK CITY-Eastern Consolidated has marketed the 60,000-square-foot building at 509 Fifth Ave. for Norman Sturner. The mid-block building was bought as a TIC, also known as a tenants-in-common entity. Rabbi Joshua Metzger's Chabad as well as a group headed by Alex Adjmi and Jeff Sutton from Bobby Cayre's Aurora Capital were the buyers.
The building was purchased for $39.75 million. SL Green Realty Corp. is providing financing for the upper floors. Chabad has plans to enlarge its Midtown headquarters in the building. For the full story, go to New York Post .
