LOS ANGELES-Lowe Enterprises Investors has been tapped to manage a portfolio stretching up to $500 million. The Pennsylvania State Employee’s Retirement System brought the commercial real estate management services firm on board to handle the package, consisting of 28 properties. The assets in question are distributed across a range of sectors and include multifamily, office and some senior housing facilities. There are also additional retail and land assets in the portfolio, according to the company.

To better manage the Northeast-located properties, LEI has established a Philadelphia office. The firm will be responsible for daily management of the portfolio as well as formulating and implementing investment and portfolio strategies for the State Employees Retirement System.

In a company statement, LEI co-CEO Bleecker P. Seaman said, “Our background as a value-added investment manager, combined with our firm’s significant experience in investment and asset management  across all property types, allows us to quickly assess the significant portfolio and provide a seamless transition.”
