HOUSTON-Transwestern will start construction on a Class A office project in the Energy Corridor. The development, named Westgate, will come up on a 20.8-acre land near Barker Cypress and Interstate 10. On September 13, the Houston-based company bought the land for an undisclosed price from Hearst Corp.
The new three-building complex will comprise 660,000 square feet of office space. New York-based Cushman & Wakefield's David Cook and Jeff Peden represented the seller, while Transwestern represented itself in the acquisition deal. For the full story, go to Houston Business Journal .
