AUSTIN, TX-American Campus Communities Inc. has closed the $627-million acquisition of Illinois-based Campus Acquisitions LLC's student housing properties. In July, the Austin-based company signed the deal to acquire 15 student housing properties from Campus Acquisitions.
ACC is planning to invest $13.7 million to improve the acquired portfolio. The local properties include the 623-bed Castilian, the 121-bed Vintage West Campus and the 190-bed Texan West Campus at the University of Texas at Austin. For the full story, go to Austin Business Journal .
