MEMPHIS-Kroger Co. has bought a few lots at and near its store at 1761 Union Ave. The grocery chain, functioning as Kroger Limited Partnership I, bought the old Schnucks and Seessel's structure for $4.5 million. SM Properties Memphis LLC was the previous owner of the 39,723-square-foot building, which sits on a 1.67-acre land.
Kroger also purchased a 0.025-acre lot at 1783 Union for $130,000 from Arthur Seessel III, functioning as MAS Partners. For the full story, go to Memphis Business Journal .
