LEESBURG, VA-Continental Realty Corp. has purchased a 236-unit apartment complex in Sterling for an amount of $42.5 million. The Baltimore-based company paid nearly $180,000 per unit for the apartment community, called Chase Heritage.

Continental Realty acquired the multifamily property for a real estate fund backed by one of its affiliates. This is the second apartment community purchase in Northern Virginia for Continental, which earlier acquired Parkwood Court, a 189-unit apartment complex in Alexandria.
