CLEARWATER, FL-HEI Hotels & Resorts, headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut, has bought the Residence Inn Clearwater Downtown, a seven-story premium select-service hotel in Clearwater, for an undisclosed price. This is the 12th acquirement by HEI's Fund III and it is the 14th property in the Marriott brand family in the hotel investment group's 42-property portfolio.
