ATLANTA-The Marcus Corp. has acquired a minority in the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North in Atlanta. The Milwaukee-based company has joined with The Arden Group Inc. and Carey Watermark Investors Inc. to acquire the 372-room hotel.
Marcus has taken an 11% interest in the $57 million investment that includes $14 million for improvements. This is the second acquisition in a month for MCS Capital LLC, a hotel investment division of Marcus. Marcus Hotels & Resorts will operate the property.
