PORTLAND, OR-Seattle-based Security Properties has acquired Forest Creek Apartments, a 160-unit apartment complex located at 1940 N.W. Miller Road in the Forest Heights neighborhood of Portland, for $25.7 million. The company closed the acquisition along with Guardian Life Insurance of New York.
The Lake Oswego-based developer that first developed Forest Creek in 2005 was the seller. The multifamily property is 100% occupied. Cushman & Wakefield of Oregon Inc.'s Jim Lewis and Gary Griff handled the deal. For the full story, go to Portland Business Journal .
