LONDON-CBRE Global Investors has acquired five supermarkets for more than GBP 62 million. The company bought the 26,548-square-foot Waitrose in Frimley and the 53,295-square-foot Sainsbury's in Chadwell Heath for a total amount of GBP 28.75 million.

The real estate investment firm paid GBP 14 million for the 30,680-square-foot Waitrose in East Grinstead, GBP 5.8 million for the 16,703-square-foot Co-op in Chapel Allerton in Leeds and GBP 13.8 million for the 33,075-square-foot Sainsbury's in West Wickham.
