NEW YORK CITY-Hot on the heels from its participation in the sale of space at the St. Regis Hotel New York, the Feil Organization announces prime space available at 835 Broadway. The 37,028 square foot open property spans more than one floor and is located at the corner of 14th street in one of the city’s most highly-trafficked neighborhoods.

The mixed-use building is surrounded by popular retail outlets including DSW, Staples, and Forever 21, and is nearby Whole Foods and the W Hotel.

Currently, Brian Feil vice president of commercial leasing for The Feil Organization, explained to GlobeSt.com that they are “looking at a multitude of users” to take over the open space. “Nothing is close to being finalized,” he cryptically added.

He communicated that the space has great potential, given its location and size; the tenant would “really have the ability to grab the consumer’s attention” in that spot. Going forward, he said the organization is working on many smaller deals, but nothing exceedingly noteworthy as of press time. However, he concluded: “we’re always looking to reposition our assets and better improve tenancies and buildings.”

Meanwhile in the neighborhood, 51 Astor place is the other hot property, albeit under construction. Edward J. Minskoff’s spec office building spanning 400,000 square-feet is still waiting to be leased  up, although rumors have been swirling that it might end up being home to some high and mighty tech companies.
