LONDON-The UNITE Group has acquired a zone 1 site in Camden located in North London for GBP 23.8 million with plans to develop a student housing project. The seller was Travis Perkins. HSBC provided funding for the acquisition.
The UNITE Group secured planning permission in August 2011 along with Travis Perkins (Properties) Ltd. for the scheme. Construction of the 563-bed student housing development will start in 2012 and it will be completed in 2014. For the full story, go to PropertyMall .
