
MELROSE, MA-Connecticut-based Charter Realty & Development Corp. has acquired Towers Plaza, a neighborhood shopping center in Melrose, for $8.6 million. The 52,000-square-foot shopping center sits on five acres of land at the junction of Lynn Fells Parkway, Melrose and Main streets.
The center, constructed in 1965, includes Rite Aid, Johnnie's Foodmaster Supermarket, Eastern Bank, Anton's Cleaners, Liberty Bell Roast Beef & Seafood and Honey Dew Donuts as its tenants.
