JACKSONVILLE, FL-Tampa-based Liberty Group has bought the Holiday Inn Express & Suites by IHG situated on the St. Johns River in Jacksonville. The company acquired the 73-room hotel in a joint venture with Tampa-based DeBartolo Development.
The property has a 2,000-square-foot meeting room, an atrium-style great room, a fitness center and an outdoor pool. It was earlier sold for $6.5 million in 2006.
