SAVANNAH, GA-Cushman & Wakefield's Retail Investment Advisors and Auction.com have closed the sale of a community shopping center, Abercorn Common, in Savannah. Local investor David Garfunkel has bought the 185,244-square-foot retail center from a Special Purpose Entity managed by LNR Partners, LLC.
Abercorn Common, situated at the junction of White Bluff Road and Abercorn Street, changed hands for $24.2 million. It was the first shopping center to receive LEED Silver certification. The property was 96% occupied at the time of closing. For the full story, go to Commercial Property Executive .
