CHARLOTTE, NC-An Austin, Texas-based real estate company has bought three parcels situated along East Morehead Street, between Monticello Trail and Kenilworth Avenue for $5.8 million. Last week, a subsidiary of Forestar Group Inc. bought the parcels totaling 1.5 acres at 1329, 1321 and 1311 East Morehead.
The parcels were rezoned for a 250-unit apartment complex by Morehead Property Investments, a company controlled by Ray Jones. Lindsey McAlpine and Shane Seagle of Southern Apartment Group led the rezoning on behalf of Jones. For the full story, go to Austin Business Journal .
