FAIRFAX, VA-Reston-based Linden Development has bought a half empty office building in Fairfax for $8 million. The company purchased 9990 Fairfax Blvd. from WBCMT 2007-C31 Fairfax Complex LLC. It has plans to refurbish the building, also called Sherwood Plaza.

The building was 50% vacant at closing. After renovation, 80,000 square feet of space will be available for lease at the Fairfax building. Toronto-based Avison Young brokered the sale on behalf of WBCMT 2007-C31 Fairfax Complex. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
