MINNEAPOLIS - Jon Segner has joined CSM Corp. in the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operations Officer.
"Jon's strong background in finance, operations, and real estate will be a great complement to the executive team," comments Gary Holmes, CSM President and CEO, in a press release.
As Chief Operations Officer, Segner plays a key role in supporting CSM's growth. CSM is engaged in the acquisition, development, leasing, management, and ownership of quality real estate assets in the United States.
"In this role, he'll not only provide leadership to accounting, finance, tax, family office and IT teams, but will also take a lead in coordinating and achieving CSM objectives at the enterprise level," Holmes says.
Previously, Segner worked for Dominium Management Services, Minnesota's largest apartment developer and manager, as President and COO since 2006 and as CFO from 2001 to 2005.
Prior to that, he was a co-founder and CFO, and later CEO, of Boomerang Marketing.He also has been CFO for Real Estate Equities, VP of Finance for Ambassador Performance Group, and an auditor for KPMG Peat Marwick.
Segner holds a BA in Accounting from St. John's University and an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas.
Founded in 1976, CSM is headquartered in Minneapolis. Its portfolio includes retail, industrial, multi-family residential, and hotel properties.
