WASHINGTON, DC-Oxford Properties Group and Gould Property Co. are mulling whether to build its 900 New York Ave. NW office building here on a speculative basis.
Oxford Senior Vice President Chris Mundy said at a gathering of the D.C. Building Industry Association at the National Press Club last Thursday that the joint venture is weighing whether to break ground on the 620,000-sf office project without any signed lease commitments as yet.
According to a report in the Washington Business Journal, Mundy said at a panel discussion on capital markets in the D.C. area, "We have that option, but hopefully we won't have to make that decision. This will be sort of the capstone for the area. I'm obviously biased, but I think it's going to be a spectacular asset." See story in the Washington Business Journal.
