NUTLEY, NJ-The seven planning firms that were candidates for the redevelopment of the Roche Nutley-Clifton campus are now down to four.
The four planners that are vying for the redevelopment of the127-acre campus are: Phillips Priess Grygeil LLC, Elkus/Manfredi, Perkins Eastman and AJS Capital Holdings, according to the Nutley Mayor Alphonse Petracco's office.
A committee of Roche, Clifton and Nutley representatives will interview the applicants at the end of this month, according to the Nutley Sun.
"I think this is the most important part of the process: picking a professional that is going to weed the way and give our towns or governing bodies ideas," Nutley Mayor Petracco said. Roche announced last year that it was closing its Nutley-Clifton campus this year and will vacate the complex by 2015. See story in the Nutley Sun.
