MENLO PARK—Revised plans for a project on El Camino Real in Menlo Park call for an additional 15 to 30 housing units, but do not cut back on the office and retail space being proposed.
The additional housing, which would create a maximum of 150 units, may pacify some city officials, but increases concerns among area residents concerned about the project's size. It would in fact add 5,000 square feet to the mixed-use complex of 96,000 square feet, says Palo Alto Online.
The proposal, from developer John Arrillaga, would include medical offices, 133,500 square feet of offices, and 10,000 square feet of retail, along with housing on a site currently used for parking lots.
