LOS ANGELES—Investment Real Estate Associates (“IREA”), a national investment real estate advisory firm based in Los Angeles, has completed the sale of the 9-unit Westgate Apartments, for $1.8 million.
Westgate Apartments consists of a classic 8-unit apartment building constructed in 1956, and guest house constructed in 1925. Westgate Apartments is located on the West side of Westgate Avenue in West Los Angeles just south of Wilshire Blvd. and west of the 405 freeway. The property is in close proximity to UCLA, several high-rise office buildings, and many high-end businesses. Its location creates a residential rental environment ideal for working professionals, students, and scholars seeking a high standard of living within a “Westside” location.
Clark Everitt, Senior Vice President and William Everitt, Vice President at IREA represented the seller, a private family trust and the buyer, a private individual, was represented by an outside broker.
