GAITHERSBURG, MD-Downtown Crown, a new development on which JBG Rosenfeld Retail (JBGR) broke ground in October 2012, is now 50% leased. Downtown Crown is located in Crown, a 180-acre master planned community here. Phase one of the project calls for 260,000 square feet of retail topped by 538 multi-family residential units developed by Bozzuto. It is expected to deliver in Spring 2014.
Retailers that have signed on for the project include its anchors, Harris Teeter and LA Fitness, as well as a range of restaurant tenants, including Coastal Flats, Asia Nine, Paladar Latin Kitchen and Rum Bar, La Tagliatella, Roti Mediterranean Grill, La Madeleine, Chop't, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, Yogiberry and Georgetown Square Wine and Beer.
