DALLAS—Jones Lang LaSalle has completed Lehigh Hanson, Inc.'s 211,121-square-foot corporate headquarters consolidation at The Point at Las Colinas, formerly known as  300 E. John Carpenter Freeway in Irving, Texas.  The firm previously occupied 156,897 square feet at the building.

JLL Managing Directors Steve Thelen and Jeff Staubach, Executive Vice President Russell Cosby, Senior Vice President Vice Burt and Vice President Torrey Littlejohn represented the tenant.  CBRE First Vice President John Fancher represented the landlord, CBRE Global Investors – Strategic Partners.

Lehigh Hanson, Inc. is one of the largest construction materials companies in North America and a part of the HeidelbergCement Group, the global market leader in aggregates with leading positions in cement, concrete, and other downstream activities. Lehigh Hanson, Inc. has operated a number of its support functions out of this location for more than five years and the company is pleased to take this next step in centralizing its more than 500 corporate employees to this convenient location.

“Las Colinas was a clear choice to consolidate these headquarters functions,” said Thelen.  “It's an ideal time in the market for tenants to consider a move or consolidation within this submarket.”

Several large businesses, such as Commercial Metals and Fluor Corporation, are headquartered in the area.  According to Jones Lang LaSalle Research Manager Steve Triolet, Las Colinas is a desirable submarket because it has an abundance of middle-class housing options available for the general workforce, and is located in proximity to DFW Airport for executives that travel frequently.

The Point at Las Colinas provides CBRE Global Investors' signature 5-Star Worldwide amenities including a conference facility, LEED certification with energy management system, full-service deli, on-site fitness facility, 24 hour security, and concierge service.  The 18-story, Class-A office building was originally built in 1983 and renovated in 2007.

“Lehigh Hanson has been a great tenant for years and we are glad they opted to continue to operate with a strong presence here at the building,” said Fancher.
