DALLAS-Locally based real estate developer and investor Harwood International has renewed a 133,200-square-foot lease with long-term tenant Jones Day in its uptown office building. The global law firm has been a tenant in the HARWOOD district since 1999, when it moved into the class A, build-to-suit office building that carries the name of the law firm.

Jihane A. Boury, vice president and director of leasing for Harwood International, and David O. Roehm, COO and executive vice president for Harwood International, negotiated the lease with Russell Cosby, Brad Selner, Jon McNeil and Rachel Brown of Jones Lang LaSalle and Patricia Villareal, David Lowery and Mike Davitt of Jones Day. The office building is at 2727 N. Harwood. “We've had a great history with Jones Day and we are elated that they chose to renew,” says Boury in a press release.

The Jones Day Building was designed by world-renowned architect Richard Keating and has ten floors and a penthouse topping a four-level parking garage. As part of Jones Day's renewal, the offices will undergo renovations designed by global architecture firm Gensler.

The Jones Day Building is home to one of two Jones Day offices in Texas. Dallas opened as the fifth Jones Day office and, with more than 140 lawyers, now ranks as one of the largest law offices in the city.
