PITTSBURGH-AdVenture Development LLC of Selma, NC expects to begin site work soon on the 500,000-square-foot town center phase of its 1.2 million-square-foot McCandless Crossing project.

The development, located on McKnight Road and Duncan Avenue, will feature three new restaurants: Carrabba's Italian Grill (the chain's first location in the region), Bonefish Grill, and Longhorn Steakhouse. The project also has signed up home furnishing retailer Home Goods, according to the Pittsburgh Business Journal.

The town center portion of the project already has a committed deal for a 12-screen Cinemark theater and a Doodle Bugs child-care center scheduled to open later this month. The remainder of the town center will feature small shops, a grocery store and 50 townhouses. See story in the Pittsburgh Business Journal.
