CHANDLER, AZ-Sound Packaging, Arizona's largest independent corrugated manufacturer, has signed a 10-year lease for 105,000 square feet at the Lone Butte Industrial/MTD facility. Sound Packaging signed the lease, with an option to purchase, the building, which offers warehouse space with 10 dock-high doors and 3,000 square feet of office space.
The 1970 warehouse at 6725 W. Allison Rd. was once the home of MTD Products, which manufactures, markets and distributes outdoor power equipment. Headquartered in Valley City, OH, MTD has facilities throughout Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and South America. The company closed the Chandler manufacturing facility in 2011.
James Harper and Pete Klees with Cassidy Turley's Industrial Group represented the landlord, MTD during the lease transaction. Paul Sieckowski with Colliers International represented the tenant, which is a family owned-and-operated business that designs standard and custom corrugated boxes and point-of-purchase displays.
