DALLAS-Months after being announced, groundbreaking for the 513,000-square-foot L'Oreal distribution center has been scheduled for March 14. The development is going north at Ridge Property Trust's 300-acre Ridge Logistics Center on Dallas' south side.
Last summer, Chicago-based Ridge Property Trust signed a $17 million deal with L'Oreal to place its distribution center at Dallas Avenue and Telephone Road. Local reports pointed out that the deal came about with help from an economic incentive agreement between the city of Dallas and The L'Oreal Group of Paris.
In addition to the groundbreaking, Ridge Property Trust is interested in marketing the remainder of its logistic park, which can accommodate close to 5 million square feet of warehouse space. Colliers International has been tapped to market the land.
