LAS VEGAS—The Nevada division of Panattoni Development Company, says the firm's U.S. Micro Corporation headquarters project received a NAIOP Southern Nevada Spotlight Award this month in recognition of its impact on the area's economic development.

The state-of-the-art office/warehouse facility received its prestigious NAIOP Spotlight Award in the Industry Impact – Business IT Ecosystems category, which serves to recognize projects that have made significant contributions toward establishing Southern Nevada as a leader in the area of business information technology ecosystems. NAIOP, the leading organization for professionals within the commercial real estate industry, recognizes local companies and projects with its annual Spotlight Awards.

U.S. Micro Corp., an industry leader in data security and computer recycling, selected Panattoni as the developer of its new headquarters and recycling facility, bringing a cutting-edge 130,000-square-foot building to 7608 W. Teco Ave. in Las Vegas. Panattoni completed the project in September 2011.

In addition to serving as the company's new corporate headquarters, U.S. Micro offers a wide range of information technology solutions from the Las Vegas facility, including closed-loop recycling, secure asset transportation, data wiping and many other services. This concrete tilt-up facility also contains a two-story section featuring more than 22,000 square feet of high-end office space.
