FORT WORTH, TX—Sundance Square has completed leasing all the commercial real estate retail space facing into the new plaza with the announcement that Starbucks Coffee Company will move from its current location at 404 Houston Street to the northeast corner of the Westbrook building.
A fixture on Houston Street, Starbucks will move in this fall with 1,739 square feet of interior space and a 431 square foot patio space. The coffee house has been in their current 1,665-square-foot location for nine years.
“There is a great deal of excitement about the new plaza, and we have reached another milestone with all the retail space facing into the plaza now leased,” said Johnny Campbell, President and CEO of Sundance Square. “We will continue to focus our efforts on leasing the remainder of the space in the Commerce and Westbrook buildings. We have a lot of interest in the available space and we are pursuing those organizations who want to be in Sundance Square.”
Sundance Square's plaza will be the centerpiece of downtown Fort Worth. Del Frisco's Grille by Del Frisco's Restaurant Group, Taco Diner, and Bird Café by Shannon Wynne have already announced plans to open restaurants in the plaza.
The Westbrook, with six-stories and 93,000 square feet at 425 Houston Street, will include a first floor office lobby and retail space. The Commerce Building at 420 Commerce Street will encompass more than 83,000 square feet with nearly 17,000 square feet of significant retail and restaurant space.
