DENVER—Halcón Resources Corp., a Houston-based energy company, has signed a lease for two floors in the former Qwest tower, where it will open a Denver office.
Halcón conducts onshore oil and gas acquisition, production, exploration and development, according to a report in the Denver Business Journal.
The tower's owner, Brookfield Office Properties Inc., told the Journal that the company leased 43,829 square feet of office space for 11 years.
Brookfield, which also owns Republic Plaza, is in the midst of a $50 million upgrade of the 1801 California building, including lobby and plaza renovations.
