DENTON, TX-As redevelopment continues, several new tenants have been signed at the 765,000-square-foot Golden Triangle Mall.
Buckle, one of the country's leading fashion retailers for young men and women, has been added to a list of national and regional tenants that have recently committed to or renewed leases at the renovated mall. Buckle will occupy 5,040 square feet and will open in fall 2013.
Paul Burridge with Webcor and Blake Shipp with the Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group handled lease negotiations with Buckle as exclusive leasing agents for the mall.
In addition, the list of new tenants includes food court eateries Italia Express, Tobu Oriental Eatery and Smoothie Paradise.
Golden Triangle Mall has recently renewed leases with several key concepts, including American Eagle Outfitters, The Limited, Hallmark, Regis Salons, and Zales Jewelers.
Jim Greenfield, senior vice president with Cencor Realty Services and asset manager for the mall, said, “Buckle is a great addition to the mall, which continues to boost its tenant mix, that includes recent renewals and store renovations.”
Golden Triangle Mall is currently undergoing a total renovation as part of a joint venture between The MGHerring Group and Cencor Realty Services. After completing the interior remodel in late 2012, exterior construction has commenced with a complete renovation of the East and West mall entrances and the addition of an all-new food court, full-service restaurants and a major fashion retailer. New pylon signage, landscaping and other parking lot improvements are also under way. The mall renovation will be completed in summer 2013.
