CLARKSBURG, MD-Tanger Factory Outlet Centers and Peterson Cos. are joining forces again to develop another outlet center in the greater Washington area. The duo announced plans to develop an upscale outlet center here that will be co-owned by both companies and branded as Tanger Outlets. Their new venture follows the ongoing development of Tanger Outlets National Harbor, which is scheduled to open for this holiday season.
The new outlet center is currently in the pre-development stage. Tanger and Peterson will jointly provide site development and construction supervision services and Tanger Outlet Centers will provide management services, leasing and marketing.
The parcel is located 27 miles northwest of Washington, D.C. and 36 miles west of Baltimore at the interchange of I-270 & Stringtown Road.
