PORTLAND, OR—Nike Corp. has decided to stay the Portland area and expand its current corporate campus.

The shoe company said today it will build two buildings, expand parking and make road and other campus improvements to support the company's future growth, according to a report on the Oregon Live news website. The campus is located in Washinton County, west of Portland's Multnomah County.

The website cited a statement from Nike chief executive Mark Parker: "Nike is a growth company with a long history in Oregon and we look forward to continuing to grow here."
