CHICAGO-Parkway Properties' COO William Flatt has left the firm to join a relative newcomer in the commercial leasing market here—Telos Group LLC.
Flatt, 38, who spent 16 years at Parkway, has joined Telos as its chief operating officer, a newly created position. He will be responsible for the overall management of the firm launched last year by Brian Whiting, according to Crain's Chicago Business. Flatt will also serve as an executive vice president with Telos.
“We want to grow but we want to grow in an intelligent way that allows us to keep delivering the service that people have come to expect from our firm,” Flatt says. “If we do well for our existing clients, then growth will come from that.”
Over the past 12 months, Telos Group's leasing portfolio has swelled to 10 million square feet of office space, with assignments including the Citadel Center at 131 S. Dearborn St., the Civic Opera Building at 20 N. Wacker Drive and the building at 300 S. Riverside Plaza. See story in Crain's Chicago Business.
