DENVER—The Residence Inn by Marriott Denver City Center, has been sold for $80 million.

The deal includes the 288-room hotel and an contiguous parking garage.

The buyer is Inland American Lodging Group, a subsidiary of Inland Real Estate Group Inc., of Oak Brook, Ill., according to a press release from the firm.

The property will continue to be managed by Sage Hospitality, Denver, one of the nation's largest privately held hotel management and development companies. Inland American also recently engaged Sage to manage its 275-room Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa in Napa, Calif. The 14-story hotel opened in 2006.
