TYSONS CORNER, VA-Executives at LCOR Inc. are set to present plans in a few weeks for a substantial redevelopment of its Commons apartments development here.
The Berwyn, PA-based company is seeking to rezone portions of the property to the Planned Tysons Corner Urban District, a change that would allow it to add new high-rise apartments and retail space to its nearly 21-acre campus that now contains about 331 garden-style apartments, according to the Washington Business Journal.
If granted the zone change by the Fairfax County Planning Commission, LCOR looks to build approximately 2,500 residential units and about 50,000 square feet of retail space. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
